Measure the intended use
Choose a review measure that fits the content's job. A help page, supplier comparison, and sales resource should not all be judged by page views or search traffic alone. Look at the customer outcome as well as the channel activity.
Check accuracy, redundant paragraphs, headings, links, and next steps before publication. Read the copy without the keyword brief to test its usefulness. Explain why a change was made, not just when it happened.
An update process
Assign an owner and review date to important pages. Changing prices, procedures, or product details can leave otherwise strong content inaccurate. Document what was tested and what the team learned.
Choose where the piece will be used before producing it. A sales guide, search article, and social clip need different depth and calls to action. Use the findings to update the brief for the next stage.
