Maintain rather than multiply
More URLs do not automatically create more value. Review existing pages for usefulness, accuracy, and overlap, then improve the information people already need before building additional location pages. Note changes in budget, capacity, and offers when reviewing performance.
Distinguish editorial links, sponsorships, directories, and suspicious patterns. Do not remove or disavow links solely because a tool labels them negatively. Document what was tested and what the team learned.
Useful on-page information
Explain scope, process, limitations, and the next step. Use descriptive headings and links naturally; repeating a city or keyword does not replace useful detail. Bring sales questions into the brief so the work answers real concerns.
Compare Search Console and analytics trends with releases, redirects, and content updates. Keep a change log so later movement can be interpreted in context. Record the date, reason, and owner of important changes.
