Test a small working path
Build and review one complete task before extending the feature list. A working path exposes missing data, confusing steps, and integration limits earlier than a collection of isolated screens. Check what happens after the customer clicks, submits, or calls.
Use controlled migrations, monitoring, and rollback steps. Test a release against existing records rather than only an empty development database. Choose the next task from the review rather than repeating the calendar.
A limited first release
Separate essential tasks from later features. Build the smallest release that can be used and evaluated, with explicit exclusions and a change process. Agree whether the evidence supports keeping, changing, or stopping the approach.
Collect only data needed for the task, document access roles, and plan deletion and recovery. Security should be considered while designing the workflow. Limit account access to the people who need it.
