Check accessibility in use
Review keyboard access, visible focus, labels, contrast, and helpful errors during development. Automated checks can find some issues, but completing the main tasks manually is still important. Leave the team with a decision, an owner, and a review date.
Choose technology according to editing needs, integrations, staff skills, and support costs. Popularity is not enough to establish fit. Confirm that the business can maintain the proposed approach.
Accessible interaction
Give forms visible labels, make keyboard focus clear, and provide useful error messages. Test contrast, reading order, and navigation with more than a mouse. Check that a visitor can find the next action without guessing.
Check forms, menus, phone links, and checkout on actual device sizes. A page that shrinks to fit can still be difficult to use. Check what happens after the customer clicks, submits, or calls.
