Make releases reviewable
Use a release checklist that covers core tasks, error handling, privacy details, and supported devices. Record changes so the team can investigate a problem after an update. Use the findings to update the brief for the next stage.
Prepare accurate distribution information, test credentials where needed, and a support contact. Review approval cannot be treated as an automatic release date. Use dated records rather than relying on memory at the next review.
Support after launch
Agree monitoring, update responsibilities, dependency maintenance, and support limits. A launch plan should include how defects and user feedback will be prioritized. Test the important customer action before publishing a change.
Describe users, tasks, data, and acceptance criteria before choosing technology. A short working prototype can reveal workflow problems earlier than a detailed visual design. Separate essential work from optional additions in the proposal.
