Make internal links useful
Link from relevant pages using descriptions that help readers choose where to go next. Navigation should expose important information without creating long lists of repeated city-and-service phrases. Keep the next round of work small enough to assess clearly.
Check the destination URL, surrounding text, link attributes, and referral usefulness. Keep a record of earned, sponsored, and lost placements. Note changes in budget, capacity, and offers when reviewing performance.
Authority with relevance
Prioritize links and mentions from relevant sources with genuine readers. Paid placement, fabricated reviews, and bulk directory links can create risk without improving the page for visitors. Separate unsuitable inquiries from failures in the response process.
Inspect important URLs for response codes, robots directives, canonicals, and internal links. A page being submitted in a sitemap does not mean it is indexed. Agree whether the evidence supports keeping, changing, or stopping the approach.
