Use real content in the layout
Placeholder copy can hide problems with long service names, detailed explanations, or required notices. Design with representative content so the page remains readable when the business adds its actual information. Compare the proposed message with the words customers use.
Include hosting, dependencies, monitoring, support, and future change work. Custom software is an operating commitment as well as a project. Make the budget match the work the team can realistically deliver.
Accessible interaction
Give forms visible labels, make keyboard focus clear, and provide useful error messages. Test contrast, reading order, and navigation with more than a mouse. Review the whole path instead of judging one screen in isolation.
Check forms, menus, phone links, and checkout on actual device sizes. A page that shrinks to fit can still be difficult to use. Check what happens after the customer clicks, submits, or calls.
