Treat integration as a dependency
Confirm data formats, authentication, limits, and failure behavior for connected systems. An integration should have test cases and an owner rather than remain a vague item in the feature list. Use the findings to update the brief for the next stage.
List camera, notifications, location, offline, and accessibility needs. Request permissions only when the feature requires them. Confirm the output, owner, and review date for each task.
Release testing
Test representative devices, permissions, interrupted connections, and failed inputs. Define acceptance checks with the people who will use the product. Check the destination as well as the message that sends people there.
Agree monitoring, update responsibilities, dependency maintenance, and support limits. A launch plan should include how defects and user feedback will be prioritized. Check what happens after the customer clicks, submits, or calls.
