Make the offer easier to understand
Customers should be able to tell what is offered, who it suits, and what to do next. Review the message across the ad, page, and sales conversation for differences that create uncertainty. Look at what happened after the initial visit or interaction.
Separate inquiries, accepted leads, opportunities, and closed business. Long sales cycles need reporting that allows for delay. Record the decision as well as the numbers behind it.
Budget with a purpose
Separate management fees, media spend, production costs, and software charges. Assign each channel a role instead of dividing the budget equally. Confirm which expenses need approval before they are incurred.
Agree who answers calls and forms, what counts as a suitable inquiry, and how results return to the marketing team. Missed calls can make an effective campaign look weak. Record the tools, owners, and renewal dates involved.
